Designing Your Bat
It's pretty cool, and pretty easy: Just follow the steps to create your very own customized DeMarini bat. You create it. We build it!
The Navigation System
The blocks at the top of your screen will highlight to let you know where you are in the design process. There are 4 core steps to building your bat. It starts by selecting your model, and then it's time to Customize and Personalize leading you to the promise land, Review and Buy.
The Design Module
When you design your bat you will use the Design Module located on the right side of the page. The module will give you thousands — maybe even millions — of options to make your bat perfectly you. When using the module you will notice that there are 4 core areas of the bat for you to add your personal touch: Barrel, Handle, Grip, and End Cap/Knob. Within each area you will have multiple elements to customize. You can move from area to area. No need to complete one before moving on to the next. Areas with a red circle are incomplete while those with a yellow checkmark are done and ready to go. You can move on to the Personalize step once you've completed every option.
Bat Images & Angles
Not only do the images of your bat show you how awesome your bat is going to look with each selection you make, you can also use the buttons on the left side of the screen to see different angles to ensure your masterpiece is perfect.
Color Palette
Time to have some fun! When coloring your bat you will have the option to select any color from the provided palette. During each step the Design Module will automatically provide you with the available color palette for that specific piece and once you select a color it will contain a checkmark and be highlighted to the right of the piece you colored. If you want to change a color all you have to do is click on the specific piece and select a new color. You can always go back to each step to change colors at any time!
Inspiration
Should you ever need a little inspiration to get the creative juices flowing, simply scroll down the page to see a variety of different designs for your specific bat. Just remember, if you select one of these designs, it will automatically be moved into the core design space and remove any options you have previously selected. If you select a bat as inspiration — you are not stuck to only these options. You can go in and make any changes you want.
Personalizing Your Bat
This step allows you to really make your bat your own by adding your name, number, etc. (up to 16 characters). You even have the option to add an icon or country flag that is special to you. Boom! Before you started, you will need to select your bat length/oz. Length/Oz. options available are the same options available for the In Line model of the bat you customized.
End Cap
It starts with your End Cap. You either add text, number (9 characters is the max) or a Flag/Icon. Once you select an option you can color it and if it's text or a number, you get to select the font style. It doesn't get much more personal than this! And remember that DeMarini has the right to review and reject any and all profanity, so keep it clean!
Knob
Once you're done personalizing your End Cap, it's time to personalize the Knob. For your Knob there are two spaces where you can personalize. Each space is dedicated to text or numbers and it basically cuts the Knob in half. The top space will provide a maximum of 9 characters while the lower space will provide a maximum of 4 characters. In both areas you will be able to select the font style and color of the text. And similar to the End Cap, keep it clean so grandma would be proud.
Purchasing Your Bat
Review Your Bat
When you are done with your masterpiece and ready to share or buy it, click the "Review and Buy" button. All steps must be complete for the button to be clickable. It will turn black and yellow when available.
Importance of double-checking
On the REVIEW & BUY screen, you will have a chance to review your design to make sure everything looks just like you want and all the information is correct. This is very important because as a custom bat it is non-returnable and non-refundable. DOUBLE CHECK TO MAKE SURE ALL INFORMATION IS CORRECT.
Making changes
If you want to make a correction or change things up, just click any one of the grey boxes with the pencil in it and you will go back to that exact step where you can modify your bat. Get your bat perfect before you order it because it cannot be returned. After that, we're already bringing your vision to life.
Sharing your masterpiece
You're an artist. A visionary. Show your friends what you just created and reveal to them your true genius! You can share your bat on Facebook, Twitter or send it to all of your family and friends via email by clicking the appropriate icon. This is also a great way to send someone a "hint" on what to buy you for the holidays or your birthday, or just because you're awesome.
Printing your bat spec
Click "View Full Bat Spec" to view and print the specs for your bat. If you want something to hang up to remind you of what's coming, you can refer to this sheet when the right time comes. This will include all of your color choices, your personalization choices and even the images of your bat!
Adding to Cart
The time has come! To start the actual purchase process click "Add to Cart". This is where you will enter your billing and shipping information. Your order will be entered into our system and we will start building your very own customized bat.
And now we'll get serious for a few minutes.
Security
Protecting your order information is our first concern. Wilson protects your online DeMarini Custom Bat order information by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology, with a digital certificate provided by Network Solutions.
SSL encrypts your DeMarini Custom Bat order information to avoid the decoding of that information by anyone other than DeMarini or Wilson.
Payment Options
For DeMarini Custom Bat orders Wilson accept the following payment types:
- American Express
- MasterCard
- Visa
Your credit card will be charged immediately upon placing your DeMarini Custom Bat order. Look for an additional email when your order has been shipped.
Your credit card may not be approved for the following reasons:
- The name on the credit card does not match the billing name given
- The billing address given does not match the bank records
If approval cannot be obtained, you will be contacted either by phone, postcard, or email, and the problem will be indicated.
You will then be given an opportunity to provide corrected name or address information. So, please take care when entering your credit card numbers, as erroneous information will delay your order.
Taxes
Wilson charges sales tax where required by law. If you are shipping to states where sales tax is charged, the appropriate charges will be added to your merchandise total and displayed in your DeMarini Custom Bat order confirmation e-mail.
Cancellations/Modifications

Returns
DeMarini Custom Bat products are made to order specially for you. DeMarini cannot accept returns, except for after inspection at DeMarini HQ for manufacturing defects or warranty conditions (see below). Bat Care
Owning a DeMarini Custom Bat comes with some perks — endless swag, lasers for days and countless bombs, but it also comes with responsibility. Warranty Information
We also want to make you aware of our industry leading 12 month warranty program to help you secure your custom investment. Despite unmatched technology and durability, these bats are designed with precision-thin walls and composites to ensure the ultimate in pop - so breakage can occur. To ensure we keep our most valued customers coming back year after year, if within a year of purchase, and breakage occurs under warranty conditions, our policy is to provide you with options that we expect will meet your needs that include REPAIR or ONE TIME replacement of your bat. If we need to replace your custom bat after inspection at DeMarini due to warranty conditions, you have the following options:
Next day delivery of 'In Line/Non Custom' version of your custom model OR if no longer available, new 'In Line/Non Custom' version of your bat. This will serve as your replacement.
OR
We will recreate your custom bat and deliver in standard lead time of 4 weeks or less depending on manufacturing conditions. In the event the exact same bat cannot be made, our Customer Service Technician will work with you on options.

Shipping
In most cases, DeMarini Custom Bat products will be shipped within 4 weeks from when the order was first made. We will send you an e-mail letting you know when your order has shipped. DeMarini Custom Bat orders are shipped via UPS Ground. Shipping rates are provided during the checkout process.
DeMarini Custom Bat only ships within the United States. We are currently unable to accept or ship international or APO/FPO orders.
Personalization
Wilson / DeMarini reserves the right to refuse any requested personalization message that includes profanity, slander, trademarks and/or any other content that Wilson / DeMarini considers inappropriate in its sole discretion.
